Vinexpo 2015 was solemnly opened on June 14 in Bordeaux. In the speech, François Hollande, the president of France, said at the expo that: “Today’s Bordeaux is not only the capital of a district, but also a window to show the entire France as well as the global metropolis of wines and spirits…”

Official statistics from Vinexpo show that there are 2350 exhibitors from 42 countries attending this expo. It is introduced that Changyu not only shows the representative products of its chateaus and series, but also displays its market system graphically at this expo: The selling network includes 29 warehousing logistics centers, 35 provincial companies, 312 municipal companies, 3700 salesmen, 5300 distributors, and 6200 sales promoters; the distribution companies include A-class direct supply companies, B-class direct supply companies, companies with small and medium-sized channels, companies with suburban channels, pioneer exclusive store companies, wine pioneer e-business companies, VIP group purchase companies and tourism sales companies; the import business includes French wine import companies, Italian wine import companies, Spanish wine import companies, Australian wine import companies and American wine import companies. It fully demonstrates that Changyu is not only the biggest wine and brandy producer with the longest history inChina, but also a wine sales giant with enormous sales network, steady channel construction and perfect market system.  

It is learned that Changyu’s booth at Vinexpo in Bordeaux gathers the representative products from Chateau Changyu-Castel Yantai, Chateau Changyu AFIP Global Beijing, Chateau Changyu Golden Valley Icewine Liaoning, Chateau Changyu Moser XV Ningxia, Chateau Changyu Baron Balboa Xinjiang and Chateau Changyu Rena Shaanxi as well as serial wines including Changyu Jiebaina, Changyu Zui Shi Xian, Changyu Guifu and Changyu ViniPanda (export product). In addition, FRANLLET and LORMIN produced by Changyu inFranceboth appear at the booth, which are arranged by Sun Hongbo, the general manager of Changyu Franllet Chateau with his team.

As a prestigious international wine expo, Vinexpo dated back to 1981 and it is held inBordeauxevery odd-numbered year (Vinexpo Asia-Pacific is held in Hong Kong every even-numbered year since 2006). This Vinexpo will be closed on June 18 in Bordeaux. According to the official prediction of Vinexpo, 45,000 visitors from 120 countries will be attracted to be present at the expo during the five-day exhibition. (Zhuang Chen)
