As China's wines are highly visible on the market in European nations, European wine critics are increasingly concerned with China's wines. René Gabriel, the most influential wine critic in German-speaking region in Europe and chief editor of Swiss magazine of WEINWISSER, has recently released Fairyland of Good Wine-China on his wine critic website, disclosing his notes of wine critic for multiple China's wines for the first time. Gabriel rating system is a general 20-point system (full score: 20 points) adopted by European wine critics. Noble Dragon Dry Red Wineexported to many European nations is rated 16 points, Chateau Changyu Moser XV Ningxia 2013 Dry Red Wine and Chateau Changyu AFIP Global Beijing 2009 Dry Red Wine  are rated 18 points and Liaoning Changyu Golden Valley Icewine Chateau 2011 Black Diamond Level Icewine is rated 19 points.

Of all wines tasted by Gabriel, the oldest wine is 1784 Yquem. In Gabriel's 20-point rating system, 1937 Yquem is rated the highest-21 points beyond the full mark, which has been interested news in wine. Gabriel has rated Liaoning Changyu Golden Valley Icewine Chateau 2011 Black Diamond Level Icewine 19 points, fair with Chateau d'Yquem of Lvsa-Lvsi in the same year and 1 point higher than Chateau Rieussec in the same year. It is worth noting that Yquem is the only Premier Cru Superieur in the 1855 Bordeaux grading system and Rieussec is a Sauternes Premiers Crus in the 1855 Bordeaux grading system (currently affiliated to Château Lafite Rothschild).

Ningxia Changyu Moser XV Chateau 2013 Claret and Beijing Chateau Changyu AFlP Global 2009 Claret made from Cabernet Sauvignon are rated 18 points. How much are they valued? It is known that dry red wines made by Cabernet Sauvignon in the world are most represented by Bordeaux Médoc. Taking "Golden Year" of 2015 for Bordeaux in the century as example, Gabriel has rated 6 Second Growths in the 1855 Bordeaux grading system 18 points (14 second growths in total) including Chateau Pichon Longueville Baron, Estournel, Chateau Rauzan Segla, etc. and rated one second growth 17 points; Four premiers crus including Latour, Mouton, Margaux and Haut-Brion (5 premiers crus in total) are rated 19 points.
