Recently, an article of Becky Austin, a wine consultant of BBR, a British royal wine merchant, was published on its official website, which recommended three wines suitable for drinking in spring, including Coteaux Bourguignons Dry Red Wine of Domaine Jean Grivot in the Bourguignons producing area, France, Moser Legend Cabernet Sauvignon Dry White Wine of Chateau Changyu Moser XV in Ningxia producing area, China, and Vina Tondonia Tempranillo Dry Red Wine of Lopez de Heredia in Rioja producing area, Spain. It this article, it says, “The second wine I choose is Moser Legend Cabernet Sauvignon Dry White Wine brewed from Chateau Changyu Moser XV. I find that the Chinese wine has been a hot topic under discussion lately.”

It is known that Cabernet Sauvignon is a red grape variety for brewing the dry red wine originally. How can it brew the dry white wine? During an exclusive interview of a journalist ofDecanter, a British magazine, Mr. Ross Moser, the chief enologist of Chateau Changyu Moser XV, disclosed the brewing method of this wine: pumping the unsqueezed free run juice out for brewing Cabernet Sauvignon dry white wine at first, and then residual more mellow grape juice for brewing Cabernet Sauvignon dry red wine.

Well, as the first dry white wine brewed by Cabernet Sauvignon in the world, how does Moser Legend Cabernet Sauvignon Dry White Wine taste? Becky Austin, a BBR’s wine consultant, described: “This is a moderately-priced, delicious, refreshing and interesting appetizer wine. The characteristic of rich aroma with the lovely sambucus italicum and the fresh peach shows that this wine likes the Soave Dry White Wine of Italy very much; however, its acidity, wine body and the herbaceous aroma characteristics are more like Sauvignon Blanc Dry White Wine of New Zealand, mixing the aroma of the pink grapefruit, lemon peel, white flowers and acai berry. A series of pleasant aroma is a perfect match with the sunshine and chit-chat moment.”

BBR (full name: Berry Bros.& Rudd), founded in 1698, headquartered at 3 Saint James Street, London, has branches in Basingstoke, UK as well as Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo in Asia.
