The Sunday Times: Changyu is World-famous with Noble Dragon

As multiple wines of Changyu entered British market on a large scale,The Sunday Timeslately publishedShould you drink wine from China? Of course!, an article of Jane MacQuitty, famous wine critic in England, which wrote: “This year could be the start of something big for Chinese wine. Sainsbury’s, Wine Rack, Tesco and Berry Bros have taken delivery of the latest vintages, and there will be plenty more coming our way soon.”


Jane MacQuitty was optimistic about the prospect of Chinese wine industry and was deeply impressed by Changyu Noble Dragon, and she also mentioned in the report: “Changyu Pioneer Wine Company, the country’s oldest producer, famed for its Noble Dragon wines.”


Jane MacQuitty, as a senior columnist of the section of “Food & Wine” ofThe Sunday Times, publishes treatises such asPocket Guide to Champagne and Sparkling WinesandGuide to Australian and New Zealand Winesand once served as the judge of Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA).

 

Changyu wines entering British market at present mainly include Changyu Noble Dragon series and the products of Chateau Changyu Moser XV Ningxia and Liaoning Chateau Changyu Golden Icewine Valley. Jane MacQuitty briefly commented Changyu Noble Dragon Dry Red and Riesling Dry White sold by Sainsbury’s as well as 2016 Moser Legend Cabernet Sauvignon Dry White of Chateau Changyu Moser XV Ningxia sold by Wine Rack in the article, she thought that “Yet its vast range of soils, climates and sheer scale offer lots of untapped potential,N and quality is rising with every vintage”.
