Changyu Pioneer Wine Training School  has appointed Master Sommelier Frank Kämmer from Germany as its new Honorary President. “With his international expertise and experience, Master Frank will add a great value to our entire program” says Vincent Zhao, CEO of the wine school, “and he will be in charge of the new course Essentials in Sommelier & Wine Service Skills that is going to be enrolled in 2019”

Frank Kämmer MS has successfully worked in the luxury restaurant industry for nearly 20 years. In his career he gained many titles and honours, and he was recognized as one of Europe’s leading sommeliers. In 1996, Frank Kämmer passed the Master Sommelier examination, which is generally acknowledged as the highest international level of proficiency and knowledge in this profession. Since his career as a sommelier he has become a successful consultant to the wine and restaurant trade. Frank Kämmer is author of numerous books about wine and spirits and has a broad reputation as a lecturer for sommeliers and hospitality students.

Changyu Pioneer Wine Training School sits in the ground of the former Changyu Winemaking College.In 1958, Changyu established China’s first Winemaking College, trained many outstanding winemakers for wineries all over China.
