It is known that the award ceremony will be held on March 17, the opening day of the ProWein Trade Fair, Dusseldorf, Germany.

MUNDUS VINI (Latin, MUNDUS means world, and VINI means wine) was founded in 2001 by Meininger, a world-renowned media organization on wine. In recent years, it has set up separately spring tasting and late summer tasting. The MUNDUS VINI Spring Tasting 2019 is held from February 19 to February 24.There are 7,200 wines from 156growing regionsall over the world taking part in the tasting. The jury consists of 260 wineexperts from 50 countries, including wine merchants, winemakers, sommeliers and wine educators. It is judged by wine-tasting rules of the International Vine and Wine Organization (OIV).

It is understood that at the MUNDUS VINI Spring Tasting 2019,only 37vintage wines won the Grand Gold all over the world. 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Dry Red Wine of Chateau Changyu Moser XV is the first Chinese wine to win the Grand Gold at MUNDUS VINI, and to win the “Best of Show China”. It is the first time for Chinese wine to win this honor.

In this competition,Ningxia Chateau Changyu Moser XVhas gained a good result with one Grand Gold and four Gold in total. With the outstanding quality, only in the last year, the products of Chateau Changyu Moser XV have successively entered Harrods in London, Le Clos in Dubai Airport, China Tang, London’s top Chinese restaurant, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, a Michelin restaurant in London and Hedonism Wines, the largest and most comprehensive high-end wine store in Britain, as well as other international high-end sales venues. Currently, it has been sold well in 22 countries in Europe.

In addition, Kilikanoon Estate, Changyu’s subsidiary in Australia, totally has twelve wines that has won Gold at MUNDUS VINI Spring Tasting 2019, and once again became theAustralian wine producerwith the most Gold (only 55 wines in Australia won the Gold). Moreover, the Gold-winning 2016 Mort’s Reserve Riesling of Kilikanoon Estate has also won the “Best Australian White Wine”. Therefore,this is the fourth time that Kilikanoon Estate is awarded the honorary title of“Best Australian Wine Producer” by MUNDUS VINI after 2010, 2017 and 2018.
