Iced brandy

Iced brandy, iced Changyu Gold-award Brandy in particular, enjoys sweet-smelling and chilly vinosity, bringing velvety mouthfeel and a unique flavor.

The optimal drinking temperature of brandy is 7-10℃; within such temperature range, the taste of brandy is the best. If you want to taste “pure drinking” flavor of brandy and experience cool and refreshing excitement, it is not recommended to add ice block in brandy directly; but ice the brandy through ice bucket, refrigerator or ice water, etc.

The following are several methods for brandy icing:

1. Icing through ice bucket: one hour before drinking, put the wine bottles in ice bucket for lowering temperature, which is also the typical way adopted by qualified restaurants, canteens and bars.

2. Cold storage in refrigerator: this is the commonest way, since temperature of domestic refrigerator can reach to 7-10℃. Just put a bottle of brandy under normal temperature in refrigerator for over one hour and then iced brandy can be enjoyed.

Pour the iced brandy about 1/4 of tulip glass. Gently shake the glass, intoxicating in the unique delicate grape fragrance, take one sip, let it diffuse and circle around in the mouth and then mellow, chill, fresh and silky liquid will flow into the throat with an exciting fresh and cold taste, which can turn into a stream of warm in the body finally. Cool and fresh mouthfeel and warm current to the body bring strong sensory contrast. Such a wonderful experience can only be felt after personally tasting.
