Chateau Changyu Baron Balboa in Xinjiang, named after Baron Balboa, the first generation winemaker of Changyu Company, is located in Nanshan New District, Shihezi City. The Chateau was invested and built by Yantai Changyu Wine Co., Ltd with an investment of RMB 600 million in 2010, and completed in August, 2013.

The Chateau covers area of 1000 Mu, in which an exclusive planting base of 5,000 Mu and storage cellar of 6,000 square meters are planned, with the annual capacity of 1,000 tons of chateau wine.

The overall building design of the Chateau is mainly in the style of 19 century French classicism. Landscape characteristics are organic combination of French classicism and Chinese western culture, wine culture and Changyu historical culture, and the Chateau is a typical model of the integration of Chinese Chateau and modern winery.The Chateau is a large-scale modern winery integrating grape growing, wine production and sales, cultural transmission, sightseeing tourism and so on, with the capacity to accommodate more than 500,000 visitors each year.

The unique gobi gravel soil and sunshine, which is even better than Bordeaux of Chateau Changyu Baron Balboa in Xinjiang make it possible to produce alcoholic strength of 13.5 almost every year in the Chateau.

Comte de Salvieux, global master of wine who has 56 years of winemaking experience, serves as the honorary president of the Chateau, and creates a typical style of full-bodied wine with fruity flavor.
