“Wine Carrier” —Yantai Changyu International Wine City Built by Changyu

    The project of Yantai Changyu International Wine City covering an area of 6200 mu will be completed in 2016, and will include several thematic functional zones: Grape and Wine Research Institute, Wine Production Center, Chateau Tinlot, Chateau Koyac Brandy, Grape Planting Demonstration Park, Pioneer International Wine Trading Center, and Hayner Wine Town. Yantai Changyu International Wine City will build a first-class modern wine industrial producing demonstration zone , China's first premier standard planting and brewing demonstration zone, as well as China's first 5A scenic spot for industrial tourism of wine.

    The completion of Yantai Changyu International Wine City will help Changyu to improve its international competitiveness on such aspects as capacity scale, brewing equipment automation, grape planting technology, brewing technology and brand promotion. The Wine City will add a new urban highlight to Yantai, the only international vine and wine city in Asia, supporting the global wine industry for useful exploration in industrial cluster. It will also create a palace for wine enthusiasts at home and abroad to experience the wine culture of both China and the world thoroughly.
