CHANGYU has adopted lightweight, thin-walled bottles for over 95% of its products. While maintaining the strength of the wine bottles, the bottle weight has been reduced from 540g to 410g, a material reduction of over 20%. This has also led to a 20% decrease in energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions during the bottle production process. The application of lightweight bottles has resulted in a 1.3-ton reduction in the weight of wine per shipping container, and an annual weight reduction of approximately 20k tons. This has led to decreased fuel consumption and emissions from transportation vehicles, achieving both economic and environmental benefits.
