Red Wine of Kilikanoon Wines Entered A380 First Class of Emirates Airline

On the 2018 Changyu Brand Strategy Conference with the theme as “Global Layout: Second Entrepreneurship of Changyu Since 1892” held lately, Warrick James Duthy, general manager of Australian Kilikanoon Wines revealed when making a speech, the wine of Kilikanoon Wines had entered the wine supply system of Emirates Airline and Cathay Pacific Airways.


It is learned that since 2012, 5 wines of Kilikanoon Wines have been successively selected into the wine list of Emirates Airline, including Oracle of 2008 and 2013 entering first class, Covenant of 2013 entering business class as well as Mulga of 2013 and 2015 entering economy class, which were symbolic red wine of Shiraz grape of Australia. Among it, Oracle Shiraz Red Wine of 2013 of Kilikanoon Wines was supplied in A380 first class of Auckland-Sydney Air Route of Emirates Airline, this wine got 96 points inAustralian Wine Companionof Edition 2018 compiled by famous wine critic James Halliday, which existed in the top-grade range of “94~100 points” in the scoring system of James Halliday and was specifically identified as “Outstanding”.

In addition, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, executive chief editor of AmericanWine Advocatealso spoke highly of Oracle Shiraz Red Wine of 2013 of Kilikanoon Wines, her tasting note described: “With a color dark tile red and slightly purple, this Oracle Shiraz Red Wine of 2013 has the aroma of Black Forest Cake, mint and violet and the delicate fragrance of cinnamon stick and cracked pepper. The wine body is from moderate to full, a tenacious framework supports the expressive taste of black fruit and spice, and the aftertaste is full of vigor.”

It is reported that Emirates Airline once won multiple awards in “Cellars in the Sky Awards” held byBusiness Travellerfor many timesby virtue of its high-quality wine supply and high-level wine service. One statistics in 2017 shows that the expenses used by Emirates Airline for purchasing wine since 2006 reached USD 690 Million, besides daily supply of the flights,N 3.80 million bottles of vintage wines are stocked in the wine cellar.
