British wine buyer website (www.the-buyer.net) currently published a column by Roger Jones, Michelin Star Chef, titledThe Other World of China’s Château Changyu-Moser.According to the editor, “China’s Changyu-Moser is famed for its Disneyland-style château that cost £70m to build back in 2012, but its wines have come along in leaps and bounds as our roving Michelin Star chef Roger Jones discovered at a Master class held by the winery’s Lenz M Moser and Frank Kämmer MS. The wines where Moser has started to have more control over are clearly getting better, so much that they were tasted comparatively against some of the world’s top wines.”

According to the description inThe Other World of China’s Château Changyu-Moster, Roger Jones tasted Chateau Changyu-Moser XV Grand Vin 2013 and 2015, Changyu Moser Family Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 and 2015 (second wines), and Changyu Moser 2016 (entry level), including White Cabernet Italian Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc de Noir, Cabernet Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. In the column, Roger Jones appraised the Chateau Changyu-Moser XV Grand Vin 2013 as “rich and evolved, juicy fruit forward, chocolate and spices, minty, wild blackberries and mulberries, easy drinking.” He also considered that Chateau Changyu-Moser XV Grand Vin 2015 was a level-up to 2013, and it was “a polished wine of huge quality”.

It is understood that The Harrow at Little Bedwyn, which is run by Roger Jonesin Wiltshire England, was selected as one-star restaurant in theMichelin Guide • British Editionin 2006 and was selected as one of the “Top 100 UK Restaurants” (ranking 48th) bySunday Timesin 2012.
