In the international wine and spirit selection on SIALFrancein2008, ChangyuJiebaina, with a history of more than 80 years, became the only Asian wine brand found in the list of “BestGlobalWine Brands”. The selection was presided over by Mr. Yves Benard, chairman of the wine specialistcommitteein INAO of France, anditappraised the candidate brandsstrictlyby the three standards of product quality, business performance, and brand value. According toMr. Yves Benard, the selection attached importance to the value-creating ability of a candidate brand, and therefore, the history of it was an importantfactor. Of thetop 30 of theselectedbestglobalwine brands,Moët Hennessy of France, E&J Gallo Winery of America,andChangyuJiebainaof China, all hada long brand history.
