    In 1915, Zhang Bishiheaded a Chinese delegation of 50 members with Huang Yanpei(who became one of the early state leaders of PRC)as his secretary and attended the World Expo in San Francisco, i.e.the Pacific Panama Fair of Nations.In America, Zhang Bishi and other members paid a visit to the White House and were received by Woodrow Wilson,PresidentoftheUnited Statesthen.Zhang wasreferredto as“Rockefeller of China”by the American media. Onthat fair, Changyu won four gold medals for its fine products, which marks thesuccessfuldebut of Chinese wine on the international arena.
