Recently, the result of the 12th“Simply Bordeaux” Selection hosted by Conseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux (CIVB) has been announced. Among the top 100 vintage wines, Chateau Techeney Dry Red Wine 2015 under Changyu Company is listed in. It is known that “Simply Bordeaux” aims to promote highly cost-effective Bordeaux wine in the Chinese market, covering dry red wine, dry white wine, sweet white wine, rose wine and sparkling wine; and the selection objects are divided into three groups according to the retail price, including RMB 100-249 Yuan, RMB 250-349 Yuan and RMB 350-500 Yuan. Chateau Techeney Dry Red Wine 2015 is listed in the group of RMB 350-500 Yuan.

Chateau Techeney is graded as Bordeaux Superieur, with the age of grape vines of more than 50 years averagely, whose main grape varieties are Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. In 2013, Chateau Techeney Dry Red Wine 2011 ever won the gold medal of Concours de Bordeaux-Vins d'Aquitaine.

As introduced, 2015 is a great year of the Bordeaux producing area as well as the first year for Changyu Company to hold two brands of Chateau Mirefleurs and Chateau Techeney by means of acquisition. Chateau Techeney Dry Red Wine 2015 deriving from the 50-year old vines is ruby red after more than 14 months of ageing in the French oak barrels with the aroma of rose, cherry, vanilla and dark chocolate, rich fruity flavors, soft tannin and expressive aftertaste,

According to the arrangement of CIVB, the top 100 wines listed in the 12th“Simply Bordeaux” can enjoy the special label of “Simply Bordeaux” and be included in theSimply Bordeaux 2018manual. It is learnt that CIVB will hold the “Simply Bordeaux” Wine Tasting on April 24, April 26 and April 27 in Qingdao,N Chongqing and Hangzhou respectively to show the top 100 wines listed in the 12th“Simply Bordeaux”.
